The people who wrote this doesn’t understand the main benefits on-chain is non-changeable and you can track back of the information. On Ethereum or not is not the point.

Why it matters

That is totally bullshit, the whole reason the protocol lab to build this ifps/filecoin are for helping lack of good solutions for storing data on chain. You can’t change the data on ipfs if you are not using IPNS.

As today, 100% nft are putting the data on ipfs which is on-chain. What cyberbrokers claims here are 100% wrong.

What is the real issue

It is nothing about you are in Ethereum or in ipfs, it is can you change the what your nft looks like. It is super easy, make sure no one can change your baseuri. That is it.

Why I call it a bullshit

You are wasting gas to store something on Ethereum instead using more advanced technology like ipfs. And you are changing more just because your cost is higher.
