Polygon tweeted that it has launched a comprehensive security audit of zkEVM. This audit will focus on the correctness and robustness of zkEVM. It is also the last key step that needs to be completed before the mainnet is launched. It is reported that Polygon has invited two security companies, Spearbit and Hexens, to be responsible for the relevant audit work, involving 37 audit components inside Polygon zkEVM, to ensure that it is safe and reliable when it is launched on the Ethereum mainnet.
As previously reported, in October this year, Polygon announced that the Polygon zkEVM public testnet has been launched. This is the first zkEVM to use the open source ZK proof system to enter the public testnet.
