After having been a degen every night looking for new projects to ape some capital, I have received some of the best airdrops in the past few years, including:

$UNI, $ENS, $dYdX, $INCH, $SNX, $GFI, $ILV, $ICP, $NOTE, $INST

In this guide you can find a short list of some of the most important protocols that might do a 2022 airdrop. I have also included some actions of how to get them, but fist some context.

Airdrop is new a growth hacking technique that allows a protocol to attract (and retain) early users/evangelists into the ecosystem by promising a future reward. The projects instead of allocation a marketing budget, set up a share of future tokens that allows rewarding past users, decentralizing the product and attracting new people.

Let's start the list:

1. Hop Protocol

One of the most promising ETH <-> L2 bridge. We live in a multichain world, so this will be massive in the coming years.

ACTIONS:

  • Provide liquidity and stake capital in the pools with no IL

2. Connext / XPollinate

Another great bridge between EVM chains.

3. Element Finance

Element is an open-source protocol for fixed and variable yield markets.

ACTIONS:

  • Invest some money in fixed rate,
  • Provide capital to the pools,
  • Use the Aztec version as soon as it launches – 2 airdrop in 1 ;)

4. ECO

Watch out closely what @andy_bromberg and team are building to revolutionize the concept of money. Always #KYEP

ACTIONS:

  • Interact with the community, with the twitter @eco_accountant BOT and be an active member in discord.

5. Argent

One of the best Ethereum wallet with best UX in the scene and already integrated with lot of products and L2s.

ACTIONS:

  • Activate the account on mainnet and ZkSync and start using some protocols.
  • Use also the first web browser wallet for Starkware.

6. Aztec Network

Aztec is the ultimate security shield for the internet of money. http://zk.money allows user to mask ETH

ACTIONS:

  • Mask some ETH from one wallet, and send to another wallet

  • Keep them in the network and wait for Element to be deployed

Platform that aims to build a new creative economy where creators can use the Ethereum to value their work in entirely new ways. It is similar to Opensea but you mostly buy 1/1 pieces

  • Buy some art you like and support artist in a new way!

8. Polymarket

Polymarket is a decentralized information markets platform to demystify the real world events that matter most to you. It works on Polygon so it is cheap to use it.

ACTIONS:

  • Do some bet about things you love
  • Provide liquidity to the markets with high APY

9. Superfluid

Handle subscriptions, salaries, rewards and any stream of value, with continuous settlement every second.

ACTIONS:

  • Stream some money, be part of discord community and keep using the great product!

10. Zig Zag Exchange

It is the first DEX with central order book that runs on zkSync.

ACTIONS:

  • Bridge some funds to @zksync and make some trades!

11. OPYN

Opyn is building DeFI native derivatives and options infrastructure. One of the best DeFI Protocol in the scene.

ACTIONS:

  • Direct cast oToken (Put or call options)

12. Ondo Finance

Ondo It's a decentralized investment bank that provide structured products. With @feiprotocol they developed a solution for those DAO who want to rent liquidity.

13. ZORA

The open protocol to buy, sell and curate NFTs on Ethereum.

ACTIONS:

  • Buy some NFTs you like

They are building the financial layer for NFTs. They launched the first generalized rentals marketplace and built the first collateral free lend/borrow.
