A few days ago, Yin Xiyue appointed Jin Daqi, a senior staff member in front of Qingwa stage, as the chief of staff of the presidential palace. Jin Daqi has served in many government departments. During the reign of progressive President Roh moo Hyun and conservative president Lee Myung Bak, he worked in qingwatai.

Yin Xiyue and park Geun hye belong to the conservative camp. Yin Xiyue visited Park Geun hye in the southeastern city of Daegu last month, apologized to park Geun hye for presiding over the investigation of the “crony interference in politics” case, and officially invited the latter to attend the presidential inauguration ceremony.

Yin Xiyue announced at the end of March that after taking office, he would move the presidential palace from qingwatai to the Ministry of defense building in Longshan District, Seoul. According to Yin Xiyue, he will work in the new office after the inauguration ceremony; From the same day, Qingwa terrace will be fully open to the public.

Moon Jae-in, the current president, told reporters at the end of last month that he would leave qingwatai at 18:00 on the 9th after completing all his work. That night, he will spend the night at his residence outside qingwatai. After attending the presidential inauguration ceremony the next day, he will take the high-speed railway to his private residence in Liangshan City, Qingshang South Road.
