DeGate allows you to Trade easy, Sleep easy. DeGate protocol is a secure, trustless decentralized trading protocol built with Zero-Knowledge technology on Ethereum.
DeGate DEX enables spot market trading with limit orders on Ethereum mainnet, which together with ZK-Rollup and DeGate Efficient Gas Saving Technology allow efficient and cheap decentralized trading. The trading fees on DeGate DEX are very low, and there are no fees for traders-makers. DeGate provides spot market trading with limit orders while users are in self-custody of their funds.
DeGate pays special attention to the security of the protocol and is designed in a way that no malicious actor can do any evil, while users’ funds are safe at all times.
DeGate Mainnet Beta is LIVE!
We are pleased to announce that DeGate Mainnet Beta is Live on Ethereum as of 3 May 2023. DeGate Mainnnet Beta is open for trading real funds on the Ethereum mainnet. For the first week, it will be open for DeGate NFT holders, and is open to everyone thereafter, subject to a safe deposit limit. Read the announcement of DeGate Mainnet Beta launch (link).
It has been over two years since the nascence of DeGate, and the team is proud to present a decentralized Order Book exchange on Ethereum with ZK-Rollup. We believe that the time has come for decentralized exchanges to have the same features as centralized exchanges and the technology has advanced enough to have desired transaction speed at a low cost on Ethereum.
DeGate Mainnet Beta has the following features:

Very low fees- 0.05% and 0.01% trading fees for stablecoin pairs and super low gas fees

No fees for Makers (traders who place maker orders)

DeGate DAO will guarantee individual deposits at up to US$5000 should any product-only issues arise that lead to loss of funds for individual users.

DeGate Bug Bounty
DeGate takes the security of the protocol very seriously. There is nothing more important than users’ funds, and DeGate is doing everything possible to ensure this. DeGate has partnered with Immunefi and announced a Bug Bounty campaign, which will reward $1.11 million to a hacker who finds a critical vulnerability in DeGate code. The Bug Bounty campaign has been live for a couple of weeks now, and no serious vulnerabilities have been found yet.
DeGate has placed a strong focus on the security of the protocol and conducted a number of audits . DeGate will continue the Bug Bounty campaign for the foreseeable future.

ZK Trusted Setup Ceremony
In April, DeGate completed the Zero-Knwledge Trusted Setup ceremony. The ceremony is a necessary action to launch a ZK-powered protocol. It involved a number of individuals contributing random data to generate a set of keys. These keys were exported and made available for use within the DeGate protocol.

ETH Tokyo
DeGate was pleased to participate in ETH Tokyo organised by ETH Global. We hosted four events during ETH Tokyo- two poker nights and two football tournaments. DeGate is becoming famous for its poker nights (and poker swag!!), as well as football pickup games, which we already organised in Vietnam, Denver, and Bogota to name a few.
