DeGate allows you to trade easy, sleep easy. DeGate protocol allows you to do spot limit order trading with all the benefits of trading on a DEX. Zero-Knowledge rollup and Efficient Gas Saving Technology make trading on the DeGate DEX protocol high-speed and efficient.
DeGate DEX protocol enables permissionless token listing, which means anyone can list a token by adding the smart contract address. Expect a solid selection of tokens to trade and liquidity mining programmes.
DeGate is built on guiding principles of being “permissionless, trustless and decentralized”. DeGate decentralized exchange allows you to trade having a similar experience to a centralized exchange, except that you are in full custody of your funds.
Product and Tech Update
DeGate tech team is working on a number of improvements in preparation for the Mainnet Beta launch, including:

Several minor but important User Experience improvements are being made to ensure a great smooth product experience when using DeGate.

Frontend Secure Isolation is being enhanced. DeGate frontend UI code is divided into Frontend General Code and Frontend Core Code. Core Code is used to interact with the Ethereum wallet and asset private key to sign transactions in DeGate. However, General Code, responsible for business functionality, can not directly access the private key. For stability and security, the upgrade frequency of the Core Code will be low.

Performance verification of the Order Book system.
In addition to the above, the external audit process of DeGate is also ongoing, to ensure security of the Smart Contract/Circuit.
Beyond improvements from the tech team, the research team at DeGate closely followed the implementation of the EIP 4844 amongst all major Ethereum consensus and execution clients, as DeGate has plans to migrate to a 2.0 version for much lower gas cost per trade upon this EIP’s deployment. Note that the word “migrate” here is accurate in its meaning, since DeGate is a non-upgradable protocol that is 100% trustless and has no admin keys.

Last year, the weak points and failures of centralized entities were exposed and made people think again about using centralized versus decentralized platforms.

DeGate is soft-launching a humourous campaign: Say No to CEX!
It was inspired by the events of the past year where many centralised exchanges (CEXes) got rugged. We think that DEXes like DeGate are the way to go.
Do you stand by self-custody and taking your wallet and private key management seriously? You will be able to show this by wearing a Say No to CEX signal on your social media profile. More details upcoming in the next few weeks.

Crypto Events
The crypto community has a packed schedule this year, with numerous events happening around the world. ETH Global, which organizes Ethereum-centered hackathons, has already announced its schedule. DeGate evangelists will be participating in various crypto events this year to engage with the community and network with industry professionals.
DeGate evangelist Agne has already attended crypto events in Davos in January, where she had the chance to connect with industry peers and establish new connections for DeGate. Davos is famous for the World Economic Forum that is taking place in January each year, gathering World’s leaders in politics and business. Every year, the number of blockchain and crypto events in Davos around the WEF has been increasing, and this year was no exception.
The Blockchain Hub located on Davos Promenade was one of the most popular locations, attracting a large crowd eager to get inside. Bear market or not, the fact that the future is in crypto and digital assets is already clear not only for special groups of people but also for the leaders who have gathered at the WEF.
On the Davos Promenade, one could see the ‘houses’ of Filecoin Foundation, Circle, Hedera Hashgraph, while the Blockchain Hub was sponsored by Casper Labs and CV Labs, indicating that those projects have strong plans for the future.
ETH Denver
