As the Blast Mainnet approaches, we at Natrium are tirelessly putting in all our efforts to become the most trusted and efficient lending market. We are aware that in order to achieve this we will have to work and integrate with other major protocols and builders.
That's why we are pleased to introduce our brand new Natrium Partnership Program (NPP).
In this article, we'll explain how we plan to achieve this and the benefits it will bring for all parties involved.
As part of this program, we'll give our partners the option to choose between two types of vaults: Native or Proxy.
Native vaults will assign both the collateral and borrow asset to the same token, specifically the partner's own native asset.
For example, if a protocol's native token is called $XYZ, using this vault type, any $XYZ holder interested in joining will be able to use their funds as collateral and borrow more $XYZ against it. This effectively leverages their position (Looping), and the best part is that this process is virtually 100% liquidation-free.
On the other hand, Proxy vaults require one of the two assets to be different from the protocol's native asset. Using the earlier example, either the collateral asset or the borrowed asset could be, for example, ETH or USDB.
Whichever option each partner chooses, it will definitely benefit both parties in multiple ways.
To name a few, it will give high-conviction users the ability to magnify their exposure to their protocol of choice while also having the peace of mind of not risking liquidations (Native vaults).
It will also provide them with the possibility to allocate their liquidity elsewhere without having to sell anything, therefore keeping their exposure intact(Proxy vaults).
While we have already secured a few partnerships, we plan to add many more in the coming weeks. We will also increase the amount and type of services we offer.
