KILLABEARS is an Ethereum PFP NFT collection consisting of 3,333 animated bears launched by Mexican artist Memo Angeles and mobile game studio Umbrella Games in April, 2022.

The KILLABEARS collection are the flagship NFTs of the company, which has also released several ancillary collections, under what it calls the “Killaverse”. Despite the collection increasing significantly in terms of ETH value during the summer.

About the KILLABEARS NFT collection

KILLABEARS exist in an interactive, horror-inspired storyverse built by mobile games developer and publisher Umbrella Games.

The NFT bears, when combined with a KILLABIT companion NFT, can be staked. Another element of the ecosystem, KILLABEARS XL NFTs, are an upgraded version of the standard KILLABEARS but have yet to gain much traction. There are also KILLAGEAR NFTS that add on to the bears.

KILLBEARS NFT holders also get royalty rights to real-world KILLABEAR-branded items — in late October, the project’s Twitter account teased KILLABEARS toy figurines and project-branded marijuana cigarettes.

KILLABEARS trading volume & price

KILLABEARS have had a relatively span price performance since becoming a major collection in late summer, 2022.
