Virginia is for rappers and Saekyi continues the long lineage of great rappers from two up two down. No Pressure is a great introduction Saekyi as he has this very laid back mid tempo relaxation about him that feels very fall. The bass line creeps along as Saekyi sings the hook so eloquently. This artist feels very much in the same vein as Vince Staples and I could see that with the right infrastructure around him things could move just as they have for Vince. The evolution from his 2020 stuff is something that you should look at pretty closely because we find an artists really honing in on his own voice and craft. Saekyi could turn a corner in the next year with the right records and the right push.
