SUBJECT: DAO Committee Applicants Communicate with DCL Community
Over the past week DAO Committee Members have responded to a series of community-led questions in the #🗳️dao-committee-elections channel. Conversations have centered on the extent and significance of diverse representation on Decentraland’s DAO Committee, as well as on the specific skill sets and vision of each applicant. DAO Committee applicants will have an opportunity to speak directly with community members at the upcoming Town Hall on Thursday, January 26th.
DAO Committee Members, NAME Minting Fees, and Bidding and Tendering Flow
The #🗳️dao-committee-elections channel in the DAO Discord server will remain a place for DAO Committee Candidates to introduce themselves, and share their thoughts and proposals publicly. Next steps regarding the formal process for the election will be communicated soon.
The Draft Proposal to Redirect NAME minting fees to the DAO has passed with broad support and it's on track to be promoted as Binding Governance Proposal. Meanwhile, the Bidding and Tendering Flow Binding Governance Proposal is coming to a close with the majority of participating voting power in favor of the project.
Community Grants Program Pause
The Community Grants Program remains paused at this time, and will resume on February 28th.

In World Meet Up: Exploring DCL Worlds
