In order to let citizens spend a stable and peaceful Festival and do a good job in ensuring supply and price stability during epidemic prevention and control, Xiamen has started the second phase of government price difference subsidy in 2021 to sell affordable vegetables since September 18.

Citizens of Xiamen will be able to buy affordable vegetables in the “government designated agricultural and sideline products affordable sales area” of the following affordable stores. The vegetable varieties sold by the government’s price difference subsidy include 11 kinds, including green pepper, cucumber, rape, eggplant, Chinese cabbage, cabbage, cauliflower, Shanghai green, carrot, potato and white radish, which are sold by 9 out of 11 affordable store operators.

In 2021, the second phase of government price difference subsidy relies on the existing parity stores to implement the mechanism of government price difference subsidy for vegetable sales, and the deadline will be notified separately. From now on, all parity stores will actively carry out preparatory work in accordance with the specification requirements of parity stores, start the work of selling parity vegetables with government price difference subsidies on time, and update the vegetable price in time according to the price released by Xiamen development and Reform Commission. All district development and reform bureaus shall strengthen the inspection of affordable stores in their respective jurisdictions during the start-up period, and any problems found will be corrected and reported in time.
