What's a community? A group of people united around a project, like-minded people, or participants in a single event? All of them together! Since Storm Trade is a newborn project of the ecosystem, we would be honored to get to know its members. For this important mission we asked Denis Matveev, who participates in the development of the popular TonKeeper wallet and is one of the founders of TON community!

1️⃣ Were you involved in the formation of the TON community?
I started my TON blockchain journey in the summer of 2021. At that time, there was only http://ton.org/bridge and the TonWallet. Since then, my fascination with this blockchain began and is coming to an end.
2️⃣ What makes the TON community different from the rest?
They are dedicated and demanding users who value Telegram and NFT around the messenger.
3️⃣ How would you describe the TON community using just one word?
Believers
4️⃣ What mistakes do you know about building a TON community?
Despite the blockchain's name, The Open Network, the Ton Foundation is not open to its community. Many questions are not answered live and we don't know the faces of the blockchain heroes. The top managers are not part of the community and do not know its pains, experiences and thoughts.
5️⃣ What ways in your practice would work for the TON community to make participants engaged?
Educational videos, streams, and live interaction with community members.
6️⃣ How do you think it's possible to grow the TON community without additional funding?
Yes, if users of other blockchains stop thinking, "TON is a SCAM". They actually have reason to think that way. This false attitude needs to be corrected as soon as possible.
7️⃣ If you would like to add any strategies about working with the TON community from personal examples, we would be very grateful.
Be honest, be open and be a part of the community, no matter how CEO you are. The more TON builds the vertical and moves away from the horizontal - the faster blockchain will turn into a desert without people. Differing opinions are the main engine of progress.
From the Storm team, we thank Denis for such honest answers. It seems that some of the answers are quite philosophical and require serious approaches to rethinking community building.
What is a TON community? It's a community of enthusiastic, hopeful people who are willing to dive into learning about projects and be really open with their administration.
Thanks to this interview we have defined the direction of the community as a direction of open communication without pretensions.
We always advocate openness and transparency, both in relation to the code of smart contracts and communication within the community.
