The live action version of the lion king was released in China on July 12, one week ahead of schedule in North America

Beijing News (reporter Zhou huixiaowan) on June 15, Disney’s live action version of “Lion King” officially announced that it was scheduled to be released in mainland China on July 12, one week ahead of schedule in North America. The film re tells the story of Simba growing into a lion king with responsibility and glory.

In 2019, the new “Lion King” will return to the African prairie again to witness the birth of a future king of beasts. Simba worships his father Mufasa, the lion king, and knows his royal destiny. But not everyone in the kingdom is celebrating the arrival of the little prince - scar, the younger brother of Lion King Mufasa, a former heir to the throne, has his own plan.

The film uses CG technology to create very realistic animals, directed by Jon feru (iron man and fantasy forest), and the classic soundtrack is also rebuilt. Donald Glover (voiced Simba), Seth Logan (voiced Pumbaa), Cheval egaford (voiced scar), Billy eichener (voiced Timon), John Oliver (voiced shazu), James Earl Jones (voiced Mufasa), Beyonce (voiced NANA) and so on.

The animated version of the lion king, launched in 1994, has won numerous honors including the best original song, the best soundtrack, the Golden Globe comedy best film and the Annie Award Best Animation at the time when the Oscar has not yet established the best animated feature film award. It is not only a recognized classic in the industry, but also the first Hollywood animated film introduced in China.
