A detailed step-by-step guide on how to add the Nexis Network Testnet to MetaMask

Before You Begin

  • Ensure MetaMask is Installed: If you don't have MetaMask already, download and install it as an extension in your compatible web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Brave). You can find it on the MetaMask website (https://metamask.io/).

Steps

  1. Open MetaMask: Click on the MetaMask extension icon in your browser's toolbar.

  2. Network Dropdown: Click on the network dropdown menu at the top of the MetaMask window. It will likely display "Ethereum Mainnet" by default.

  3. Select "Add Network": Choose the "Add Network" option from the dropdown menu.

  4. Enter Network Details: Carefully fill in the fields with the provided information:

  1. Save the Network: Click the "Save" button to add the Nexis Network Testnet to your MetaMask.

Verification

  • After saving, MetaMask should automatically switch to the newly added Nexis Network Testnet. Verify that the network name at the top now correctly displays "Nexis Network Testnet".

  • Make sure you have the “Show testnets” button selected to on as shown in the image below.
