A $20,000 grant has been awarded to help develop portable reputation for Web3.
Orange will use the grant to enhance product development and expand its footprint, while also showcasing how portable reputation can impact the Aave protocol and community. The grant brings one of the largest and most reputable DeFi protocols with Orange’s unique capabilities for generating dynamic individual reputation scores and reports.
Aave Grants is focused on building a thriving ecosystem of contributors on top of the Aave protocol. Orange is a reputation and trust minting protocol that aggregates data and Web3 reputation models to generate comprehensive reputation proofs in the form of Verifiable Credentials and NFTs.
Since Aave Grants are a public, open-sourced program, Orange will be sharing its GitHub repositories as well as the project roadmap and relevant milestones that the Aave DAO grant will be contributing.
And as Orange already incorporates Aave liquidity history datasets for reputation scoring, the grant should also serve to generate more involvement between Orange and the Aave community.
“Aave Grants DAO is excited to support Orange Protocol as they build a trustless, decentralized, and portable reputation system for Web3,” says the Aave Grants DAO team.
“Their forthcoming integration with Aave will give the community deeper insights into the borrowing, lending, and repayment behaviors of users at the wallet level. This knowledge will help the Aave ecosystem better tailor its product offerings and marketing messaging more effectively.”
