Western media article: all kinds of crazy words and deeds in the West may push the world to war
April 27th, 2022

Reference News reported on April 17 that the website of Spain’s “background” magazine published an article entitled “towards military upgrading” on April 14, saying that all kinds of crazy words and deeds of the West may push the world into a world war. The full text is excerpted as follows:

The west is stepping up military intervention in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.

The United States, NATO and the European Union, which said at the beginning of the war that they would not intervene, are now excited. They not only serve as the technical ears and eyes of the Ukrainian army to help them accurately strike, limit the opponent’s air superiority and kill Russian generals, but also increase the supply of weapons.

Since the beginning of the conflict, the United States alone has provided $2.5 billion worth of military assistance to Ukraine.

Now the consensus of the west is “to win this conflict on the battlefield”. NATO has sent an additional 40000 personnel to its east wing, will establish more permanent military bases in Eastern Europe, and will provide surface to air missiles to shoot down Russian aircraft and attack Russian missiles on ships in the Black Sea. Slovakia provided Ukraine with S-300 anti-aircraft missiles, but they were destroyed by Russia. The most absurd poles in the EU insist on ground military intervention in western Ukraine, even though they do not fly the flag of NATO. Thomas Greenfield, the permanent representative of the United States to the United Nations, said that Washington would not send troops to Ukraine, but the United States was willing to support it if a NATO country decided to send troops to Ukraine.

The media played a key role in promoting the escalation of the war. “Now all Russians are our enemies” and “tanks attack”, which are the headlines of the mainstream German newspaper Frankfurter Zeitung. Le Monde said that “NATO military intervention is no longer taboo”. The negotiation option seems to have completely disappeared from western vision.

In his speech, US President Biden mentioned that the war would last for several years and blurted out his will to change the regime in Moscow.

Obviously, all these crazy words and deeds may push the world into a world war.
