The gaming business is undergoing a revolution thanks to the advent of blockchain technology and NFTs. Game developers now have a new way to engage audiences with capabilities that were previously unavailable. Concepts like Play to Earn, led by Axie Infinity’s popularity, have already become commonplace in the gaming world.
In particular, new innovations like Loot and Rarity are two projects that have taken the crypto scene by storm. These projects are pioneering the start of the GameFi 2.0 era. They offer base games and a set of rules for game derivatives to be built on top of them, allowing the community to exercise their creativity. However, Loot and Rarity are still too simple and static, offering very limited gameplay for players.
That is the reason why we decided to build Alliance of Valiant Army or AVA. It’s a game that not only allows its community to build other derivative games, but also offers players a real RPG and Gamefi experience through various PVP and PVE activities. AVA is inspired by Greek mythology and the game allows users to summon heroes, and fight against other players.
What Is AVA?AVA is a GameFi RPG game that utilizes Non-fungible Tokens (NFTs) and Fungible Tokens (FT) to create a real comprehensive game experience that is inspired by ancient Greek mythology. What makes AVA unique comes from its core technology and the in game interactions it offers. The game is currently launched on the HPB chain and later on it will be available on Avalanche and Binance Chain.
Players are able to play with 5 different heroes currently on AVA (more will be added in the future). Each hero is recorded on the blockchain as NFTs, and players can mint them for free. Each hero comes with 3 common skills and one ultimate skill. While some heroes excel at team play, some heroes are good at single target engagements. Let’s take a look at our five heroes.
Liadrin from the Glory Empire. She is the only female knight that is part of the well known Fearless Vanguard.
Torren from the Savage Blood Tribe. He is the most powerful member of his tribe. He was also known as the youngest warrior of his tribe. True symbol of physical power and rage.
Teresa from the Green League. She is a beautiful elven archer. Her skills with her bow are unmatched even within the elven kingdom.
Asterius from the Undead Legion. He was the illegitimate son of a royal baron, however he was killed mercilessly by his step brother. Death didn’t stop him, and he came back as an undead to take his revenge.
Leposter the Demi God. He spent his childhood under the Holy Church. An unfortunate incident that happened at the church helped him find his magical powers.
Gameplay
Firstly, players can mint heroes within the Tavern at no charge (only paying gas fees). Then players can either level up their heroes within the Temple of Goddess, or purchase KEYS (sold for 100 HPB) to engage in the Training Course Mode. After using a KEY and participating in the Training Course, exclusive items will drop that can be used to upgrade heroes or can be sold on the market place to generate income. More gameplay features will be launched in the future including PVP, Endless mode, marketplace, and staking heroes to passively earn rewards.
When AVA is fully released, it will offer various PVE and PVP missions for players. On the current 1.0 Version that is available on the HPB chain, the game has three different interactions available.
Tavern: Tavern is the place where players can summon heroes and mint them on chain. There is no limit to the amount of heroes you can summon and mint. Summoning heroes is free of charge, and players only need to pay gas fees to mint.
Temple of Goddess: In the Temple, players can bless their summoned heroes. Each blessing will give heroes 250 Experience. With each level heroes’ increase their luck level, Players are only able to bless their heroes once in every 20 hours.
Training Course Mode: Players need to use KEYS to engage in Training Courses. Currently, KEYS are sold for 100 HPB tokens and there is only a total supply of 20,000 KEYS available. People who purchase these KEYS and engage in the Training Course will be rewarded with various rewards including Experience Cards, Hero Soul Fragments, Upgrade Dust and Gold coins. These materials will be very valuable once the hero upgrade or equipment features are available.
How does Play to Earn (P2E) work within AVA?
On the 1.0 version of the game, players can engage with the Training Course mode using their KEYS to obtain valuable items. These items can be used to upgrade your heroes and also will be tradeable on the marketplace.
There will only be 20,000 KEYS available in total. Once KEYS are sold out, Hero Soul Fragments of the five Genesis heroes that are rewarded at the end of Training Course won’t be accessible anymore. Only early players will be able to access these core items directly using the Training Course mode with one of the 20,000 KEYS currently available.
As the game grows, we expect demand for these genesis items to increase on the marketplace. Our product team is already working on the marketplace to make items tradeable on the AVA 1.0 version.
What is AVAG token and how will it function?
AVAG token will be native currency of the AVA game once it is officially launched. It will give holders the ability to trade heroes and items. AVAG tokens will also be DAO governance tokens. Players will be able to earn AVAG tokens by playing different modes, via Hero staking or by purchasing on the secondary market. There will be a total supply of 1 billion AVAG tokens.
