Club - Club is a social app to share your TRANSACTIONS with your friends!
Project Description
The “club” is a social networking service where you can share transactions with friends. The information inscribed in the blockchain can be checked from etherscan and other services, but will the average user enjoy this? We didn’t use any complicated words (in fact, we didn’t use the word “NFT” even once in the app), but put it in a simple and fun context like “an app where you can share what you buy with your friends. Inspired by Zenly and Swarm, we included several fun game elements, including the Mayer feature and weekly rankings with friends. We believe that Crypto payments will be increasingly used in various settings, including actual stores, in the future. And every time that happens, “Club” will get more exciting!
How it’s Made
To use this project, you must first obtain a subdomain (e.g., username.byclub.in) of byclub.in, the DNS registered with ENS. This is used as the user ID within this project. The Covalent API retrieves transactions and NFT metadata to be displayed in the timeline. This project is a mobile app and can be used on iOS/Android. Development was also cross-platform using Flutter. Off-chain data storage was done with Firebase Firestore. Timelines and search indexes are also done here. Transactions are retrieved by periodic execution, and the wallet transactions in this project are periodically retrieved and stored in the off-chain database.
