Push en Español continues to raise awareness and represent Push Protocol around the world. We inspire, connect, and communicate through the use of Push’s technologies.

We believe that effective communication requires diverse tools and the creation of spaces where ideas can be shared, learning and skill development can be fostered, and customer and overall new web3 user loyalty can be built.

What did we achieve in the first semester of 2024?

The team has adapted to a new tool stack and has started to be under the full direction of Push DAO.

Yedid and Wolfcito have joined the team, following and helping us to fulfill our promise to share technical learning with all Spanish-speaking enthusiasts and developers.

Event Participation

In March, Carla represented the team at the Padel Open, a Padel tournament organized in Bogotá. We connected and had fun with teams from Tropykus, Kiwi, Eth Bogotá, Factor DAO, and FireBlocks, allies with whom we have since been coordinating extensive and wonderful, deeper collaborations.

In May, the world celebrated the Global Pizza Party, and we couldn't miss it. Yedid and René celebrated in Mexico; José and Mafer celebrated in Venezuela, sharing in the fun with the community in both virtual and in real life spaces. Our most enthusiastic participants were awarded a commemorative POAP.

Education

We have also honed in on our educational initiatives, mostly through activities coordinated with our existing, regional allies.

In particular, we are delighted to have been a part of Ethereum Lima Day and the Eth Cinco de Mayo hackathon. Both events were held over the same weekend, where we covered side-events from end to end and connected with the community by facilitating workshops, participating in Twitter Spaces, providing mentorship, as well as starting a series of collaborations with the Avalanche team that we believe will lead to something greater.

Spanish notification channels are growing in the Push Protocol dApp, thanks to our grantees and allies: Happ3n, Loty, Nación Bankless, Dosis web3, IsoVerse, and Solow. With them we  have held shared workshops ranging from introductions to our technology to creating the Happ3n channel, which was recorded on-chain and on YouTube.

In addition to all of this, we have also taken on the challenge of deepening blockchain education in communities and schools with little to no knowledge of the industry. Special thanks to Universidad Católica Andrés Bello and Soy Techno for inviting us to participate in  their Blockchain and Web3 Programming diploma course, scheduled to start in Q3 of this year.

Brand Awareness

Push is dedicated to facilitating all forms of online communication in better and fairer ways than ever before.

Above all else, Twitter has become our go-to platform for the bulk of our community engagement efforts. We create weekly threads, and one of our favorite sections is "Hoy en web3," published every Monday to cover updates and news from the web3 ecosystem. We also appreciate our allies Mujeres en Crypto, Ethereum Bogotá, Ethereum Venezuela, Ethereum Ecuador, Pizza DAO, Digitalizados, and Crypto Conexión, with whom we have started and scaled discussions on ambassador programs in web3, educational opportunities, onchain communities, and many other topics.

In video format, it has been a great pleasure to reactivate content creation in horizontal format, focusing on integrating more projects into the Push Protocol ecosystem. On TikTok, you can find a video to activate Push Snaps from your Metamask wallet, and on YouTube, if you're interested in starting to participate in our governance and being part of decision-making, we recommend watching the video on How to vote on Snapshot in weighted votes.

Governance

Since May 2024, being under the complete direction and management of Push DAO has meant that everything related to our regulations, operations, and program applications is directed and supported by the DAO.

In these months, we have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to the DAO's mission. Our ambassadors actively participate in governance activities such as weekly calls on Discord, Push DAO Office Hours, and we have involved ourselves as direct contributors in development, business development, and more.

We are pleased to have representation from our team on the DAO Council. In May 2024, René and Carla were elected through Snapshot as Marketing Lead and Ecosystem Lead for the Council, respectively. They, who have not stopped contributing to the Push en Español community since then, are examples of perseverance and discipline, and how we push the limits of Push's usability.

Our contributions include creating content about the active programs in the DAO so that more Spanish speakers can participate and be part of what we are building. You can learn about Community Governance in Push DAO and the Push Grants Program v3, whose applications are open until August 31, 2024.

What's next for semester 2, 2024?

Push en Español is on a constant quest for engendering further innovation, better and more ways to teach, and a wave of massive collaboration in our industry and in the world at-large.

Along with other trusted partners, we are working on educational initiatives that will open up all sorts of exciting opportunities for more enthusiasts to get involved in our community.

These will occur near the end of 2024.

As the year goes on, you will also find us at hackathons and buildathons where you can build and scale your project with the help of the Push Grants Program. In this regard Ethereum Uruguay (August 15-17, 2024), is next on the list.
