This marks the full launch of the “cr450 scientific and technological innovation project” incorporated into the national “14th five year plan”, which will provide the most important technical support and guidance for the development of cr450 EMUs and the most important support and guarantee for the construction of safety standard demonstration line with a speed of 350 kilometers per hour.

According to the naming rules of railway trains in China, cr450 represents a train with a design speed of 400 km / h. At present, the fastest running speed of China’s high-speed railway trains is 350 kilometers per hour, which is the fastest running country in the world. The fastest speed of high-speed rail in Japan and France is 320 kilometers per hour.

According to reports, as a new technology verification platform for high-speed EMUs, the car participated in the early test of cr450 EMU development. On April 12, the speed of a single train in the tunnel was 403 kilometers per hour and the relative intersection speed was 806 kilometers per hour in Badong Wanzhou section of Zhengzhou Chongqing high-speed railway; On April 21, in the Puyang Zhengzhou section of Jinan Zhengzhou high-speed railway, the speed of a single train on the open line was 435 kilometers per hour and the relative intersection speed was 870 kilometers per hour, setting a new world record for the intersection speed of open line and tunnel of high-speed EMU trains.

According to the person in charge of the science and Information Department of China Railway Group, China Railway Group has deeply implemented the innovation driven development strategy of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, gave full play to the leading role of high-speed railway scientific and technological innovation, and jointly developed the world’s leading new Fuxing high-speed comprehensive inspection train based on the intelligent EMU of Beijing Zhangjiakou high-speed railway. The vehicle adopts 9 new technologies independently developed in China, such as eddy current braking, carbon ceramic brake disc, permanent magnet traction system and active control pantograph. It is composed of 4 motor cars and 4 trailers, which enhances the safety, reliability, efficiency and economy of EMU trains. The overall performance has reached the world leading level and filled a number of technical gaps in China.

Since April this year, the world’s leading new Fuxing high-speed comprehensive inspection train has carried out the advanced test of cr450 EMU development in Ji Zheng high-speed railway and Zheng Yu high-speed railway. More than 60 scientific tests such as dynamics, resistance and noise under high-speed operation and high-speed intersection conditions have been carried out respectively on the open line and tunnel, and the open line intersection with a single speed of 435km / h and a relative speed of 870km / h and a single speed of 403km / h have been successfully realized for the first time in the world The tunnel intersection with a relative speed of 806 kilometers per hour has obtained the characteristic data of EMU trains, high-speed railway subgrade, tunnel and other infrastructure under different working conditions, the relevant indicators have performed well, and the change law of safety and comfort parameters related to the improvement of train speed has been explored.
