According to TheBlock, Sec3, a blockchain security company that audits smart contracts and other services, completed a $10 million seed round of financing led by Multicoin Capital, Sanctor Capital, Essence VC, former ParaFi Capital partner Santiago Santos and Solana co-founder Anatoly Yakovenko and others participated in the vote. Sec3 currently only serves projects in the Solana ecosystem, and its customers include Helium Network, Metaplex, and Tulip. Future plans to expand to other blockchains include Aptos, Sui, Ethereum, and Polygon.
Sec3, formerly known as Soteria, also launched its product publicly today. So far, the company has only served private clients. Sec3 offers four products - Launch Audits, X-Ray, CircuitBraker and WatchTower - that can be used across project phases. Sec3 plans to continue building and improving its product with the new funding on hand. It hopes to double the size of its current team of 15 by hiring engineering and business development functions by the end of the year.
