Strategic consulting firm Bain & Company has announced the acquisition of Umbrage, a Web3 digital product studio, according to PR Newswire. Umbrage will work closely with Bain's innovation and design services and provide additional in-depth technical expertise in the areas of product management, UI/UX design, full-stack development, DevOps, QA and Web3. This move will further provide clients with an end-to-end delivery capability to conceptualize, design, build and scale next-level software-driven business models and products.

Following the closing of the transaction with Bain, Umbrage will continue to operate independently as a branded service line related to Bain's innovation and design. Umbrage will also continue to serve its existing clients in energy and natural resources, as well as a variety of other industries.

According to reports, Umbrage is a craft-based digital studio founded in 2019 that has delivered and scaled custom software solutions for various industries, especially Web3 applications in financial services and energy and natural resources industries .
