Ethereum Layer 2 expansion solution StarkNet announced the launch of Cairo 1.0-alpha.2 version, its new features include: dictionaries, events in contracts, mapped storage variables, feature support, type inference and methods.

Currently, the team is working on making Cairo 1.0 fully compatible with the previous Cairo and developing StarkNet v0.11.0 which supports writing contracts in Cairo 1.0.
