A court in the Netherlands has ruled that Alexey Pertsev, developer of cryptocurrency mixing service Tornado Cash, will remain in custody until the next hearing scheduled for April 21, The Block reported. This is the third time Pertsev's appeal has been dismissed. In addition, East Brabant Court, which handles the case, said a pre-trial review would take place on May 24. Last August, two days after the U.S. government sanctioned Tornado Cash, Dutch authorities arrested Pertsev on suspicion of “concealing the flow of criminal funds and facilitating money laundering” through Tornado Cash.
