You know sometimes, I just feel or wish I could just have a superpower that has the ability to use all the cool technologies and innovations in the world 😅. I don't even want such powers, LOL.

But nevertheless, there's one thing I know for sure is that I'm sooo bullish on Base and the projects built on it. Thinking of projects on Base, Here's another amazing product called EGOBLOX. Without further ado, Let's dive in!

So, What is EgoBlox?

EgoBlox is a Telegram bot and USSD application that allows people to buy airtime, data, pay utility bills, and send tokens using Basenames, Telegram usernames and wallet addresses. EgoBlox is a mini-app in Telegram that facilitates your normal day-to-day utilities like buying airtime, paying electricity bills, purchase data and even send crypto to your friends and families all with cryptocurrency from Telegram👌. This Project was inspired by the need to make blockchain technology more accessible and useful in regions where ISP(internet service providers) bans and VPN(virtual private network) restrictions block access to smart wallet. Additionally, EgoBlox noticed a gap in enabling seamless onchain transactions for essential services like airtime, data, and utility bills payment making it difficult for people to leverage crypto for daily needs. EgoBlox set out to solve these problems with a solution that brings real-world use cases to the onchain economy.

Here are key features of EgoBlox;

• Utility Payments: Buying airtime, data, and pay for your electricity and other type of bills.

• Token transactions: Users can send tokens easily using a Basename, Telegram username and even a wallet address.

• Smart Accounts: Implemented for gasless transactions, overcoming ISP bans and also VPN issues.

I can boldly say this product is actually fulfilling the mission of bringing the next billion users onchain. Because Telegram is drastically transforming from a web2 platform into a web3 platform with over 75% of Telegram users turning into onchain users. Telegram has enabled cryptocurrencies, digital transactions and thousands of onchain products on the app.

I believe EgoBlox would pull a lot of customers being an app on Telegram, giving users easy and seamless access in leveraging crypto.
