China's Associated Mapping for the 5G edition of the “Road map”

Virtual reality “repeated training”

Complex special-sector environments, insufficient experience in remote control operations, etc., have led to high-end equipment facing problems such as high training costs and low training efficiency, while the combined 5G+ AR/VR application technology has effectively addressed stress points such as the difficult transfer of assembly experience and the difficulty of processing assembly processes. In the 5G remote-controlled bunker model, 4270 ultra-high ring screens were screened for the driver’s eye, and screens were able to simulate the real-time scene of the rotary drilling rig from different angles, with few images of screens and real scenes. The driver sits at the driver’s seat and operates the pair of equipment, moving rotary, boarding, installation of equipment, basic drilling, etc. Through the network of 5G, drivers can experience, in real time, rich, flexible and variable virtual models, help drivers to map details, analyse the rationale, direct the nature of the problem, and effectively improve the accuracy and proficiency of the later actual operations. The staff of the Mountain Intelligent Innovation Section stated: “The former did not have 5G, the real-time simulation function was not achieved, and sometimes experts were required to work on the construction site to guide the operation, with 5G now providing real-time guidance to drivers in the north of the South Sea, and this real-time refresher training not only increased our assembly efficiency by 30 per cent, but also reduced the training cost by 80 per cent.”

In the project for the early coal mining, China has joined forces in the development of the “Intellectual Intelligent Mining Equipment and Integrated Control System” by the Mountain Intelligent and Survivors Team, which has provided new ideas for the introduction of new models of greening, smart and unexploited coal mine in our country.

At present, the mountainous intelligent equipment service is over 30 mines. In the future, the Federation will lead the Mountain Intelligent “5G+ Industry Internet” demonstration, continuously upgrade 5G+ Automated Innovation Applications Capacity, promote resource, technology and information-sharing in the engineering machinery industry, work together to build high-level science and technology innovation with core competitiveness, and promote industrial Internet innovation applications throughout the country.
