Taiyo Robotics

A large project of builders, which has 5 collections and a bunch of different utilities, which I will talk about in this tutorial.

Taiyo Robotics | Gen 1

Taiyo Robotics is 2121 robots that were manufactured on the Solana blockchain. They were created to protect the world from giant monsters that visited earth.

A Sad Beginning

The mint of the project occurred on November 21, 2021 for 1 sol. No sharp growth occurred, and by December 20, 2021, floor had barely crawled to 2sol, when the developers announced that they would no longer be engaged in the development of the project.

Here comes Tom Solport. Then he was already known in the community, and in particular took an active part in TYR. At the time of December 20, 2021, Tom already had his Solport marketplace (now TYR holders receive a percentage of his income) with the ability to conduct auctions, filter by rarity, and the ability to receive notifications about any activities on the marketplace in Telegram or Discord. Accordingly, Solport had a fairly competent and experienced team of developers.

The negotiation process itself did not take more than 24 hours before Solport and his team gained full control over the project. It is not known for sure how much he bought the project from past developers, or even got it for free.

Utilities

After getting the project in hand, Tom developed a new roadmap. Let’s look at what he did for the project:

1. Website

https://control.taiyorobotics.com/dashboard
https://control.taiyorobotics.com/dashboard

On this site you can see information about TYR volumes, how much TYR is in the stake and how much $SCRAP was burned. Also go to the utilities you are interested in or check the rarity of your robot.

2. TYR Stake

https://stake.taiyorobotics.com
https://stake.taiyorobotics.com

For stacking, you will receive $SCRAP (metal), robots have 3 methods of stacking:

Without lock. You need $0 SCRAP and get $5SCRAP per day;
7 day lock. You need a $150 SCRAP deposit and get 7.5$SCRAP per day;
10 day lock. You need a $150 SCRAP deposit and get $8.5SCRAP per day.
Those who steak for 30 or 60 days will receive Revenue from the launchpad. More precisely, 65% of 50% of all commissions will go to holders.

(1) The Launchpad fee is 10,000 SOL.
(2) 50% of the income is shared with the community — 5000 SOL
(3) 65% of total revenue is distributed between 30-day and 60-day staking Gen1–3250 SOL.
(a) 35% of Gen1 revenue is distributed between NFT with 30-day staking.
(b) 65% of Gen1 revenue is distributed among NFTs with 60-day staking.
(4) 35% of the total revenue is distributed between Gen2–1750 SOL.

3. TYR Customizer
Platform where you can customize your robot for a certain amount of $SCRAP. You can choose any features you want, but the rarity will not change from this.

4. TYR Marketplace
Marketplace where you can sell your robot.

5. Taiyo Raffle
Platform for drawing NFT, tokens, WL…

6. WL Mining Platform
Platform that is not botting. Here you can sometimes screw up a project by having a WL.

7. SolPort
This is a marketplace and a launchpad.

In order to mine on this launchpad, you need to submit an application. Their selection is strict, because pollies are very rare on it, but very successful. For example — Dumbass Donkeys.

There are no sales on the marketplace, but that’s okay. I think they’re working on it.

Community

They are one of the main bluechips on solana (if not the best). Thanks not only to its wide application, but also thanks to an incredibly active community. Only the web 2.0 resident does not know about them.

In terms of community strength, according to NFTInspect, they are in 7th place among SOL projects (22 in the overall top), and also have 372 PFP. Thanks to the Pilots, they have only strengthened and improved their positions in the community.

I won’t write about the team, I couldn’t find it, but the people there are over cool.

Taiyo Infants | Gen2

Floor: 54sol | Listing: 30/1500 | Mint: 12 february 2022, 1000$SCRAP (24sol) | ATH/ATL: 92sol/22sol
Floor: 54sol | Listing: 30/1500 | Mint: 12 february 2022, 1000$SCRAP (24sol) | ATH/ATL: 92sol/22sol

They were originally in the incubator. After 30 days in the incubator, NFTs turned into Baby robots that earn 3 times less $SCRAP than an adult model.

And I wrote that they receive Revenue from the launchpad in the amount of 35% of the total revenue.

Taiyo Oil

Floor: 8.5sol | Listing: 135/3600 | ATH/ATL: 40sol/4sol
Floor: 8.5sol | Listing: 135/3600 | ATH/ATL: 40sol/4sol

They are divided into 5/10/20 liters. The holders of the first two collections were dropped cans of oil, which gave an airdrop in the form of 1/2/4 Pilots.

The smallest banks went to the holders of baby, the largest to the holders of the legendary NFT from Gen1 or Gen2 collections, the average to the holders of GEN 1 collections.

This is where the use of the oil ends, but they promise much more use in the future.

Solsteads

Floor: 15.5sol | Listing: 157/2500 | ATH/ATL: 40sol/4sol

TYR bought this project in order for their houses to be real estate for the future metaverse from Taiyo, where your works will be game characters.

There were rumors that you could get Pilots for holding houses, but this did not happen.

Taiyo Pilots | Gen3

Taiyo Pilots is a high quality NFT project within the Taiyo ecosystem, which includes leading web3 brands Taiyo Robotics and Graphite Protocol. Pilots live in the Moon City, fly Taiyo robots in combat and can collect and use $GRAPHITE from Graphite Protocol.

Ways to mint: hold oil, buy a mint pass for $ 275 SCRAP.

Reveal is scheduled to begin at the end of January and end at the end of February. Although this process is free, you can pay $SCRAP and poach:

  1. You can pay $SCRAP to fix the change of gender, skin color or fraction.

  2. Change of faction. In this event, you will have the opportunity to swap fractions; the exchange of fractions is limited to a 10% tolerance and costs $SCRAP.

  3. Use fractional stacking points ($ORDER, $MECHA, $CHAOS, $MATRIX) to buy boxes with traits. Feature boxes give you the option to switch to rarer or more desirable traits before you lock your NFT.

Utilities

At the moment, we know about the unique mechanics of stacking, in which instead of directly receiving tokens, you will receive levels. The more you open, the more rewards that can be coins, WL, NFT, merch, access to IRL events.

Staking can also allow you to earn $GRAPHITE in the future.

They have a division into 4 factions (Operators, Informers, Resistance, Rebels / $order of $sword $chaos, $matrix)

Pilots Cores

Pilot cores were a free giveaway that could be obtained by the first few pilots. In the future, they will help to increase the staking potential of your pilot. They are also needed to unlock the graphite insert further down the line.

Cores also have mysterious use cases and “discover” future elements and events. For example, you may need a core to participate in an event with or without a pilot that unlocks tangible goods.

$SCRAP

At the moment, the use of the coin consists only in customizing NFT, buying passes, raffles, auctions, whitelist mints and in the future merch. And most importantly: Convert $SCRAP -> $GRAPHITE

$SCRAP is being upgraded to $GRAPHITE in February 2023, and over time it can be replaced with $SCRAP 1:1. Tom wanted to use the Pilots project to get rid of the old token that was created by a past developer.

Currently, you can exchange $SCRAP for Graphite in the form of a shard. https://shards.taiyorobotics.com

Graphite

Incubator

A full-fledged incubator will be created that will support projects in every possible way, and those in gratitude will have to spend a certain part of the support in Graphite, as well as give out WL on raffle for the same coin.

Also, this graphite will have its own ecosystem, some tools, a launchpad — IDO, a protocol for mint, etc.

IDO Graphite

It will be February 9, 2023

Shards: The whole $SCRAP can be turned into 1 $Graphite using shard exchange — https://shards.taiyorobotics.com

This fragment is an NFC that can be detected after IDO. The shard’s closing date is January 31, 2023.

The Graphite token has 150 million samples — 50% of this amount eventually goes to project holders through staking.

All Scrap locked in stacking will be released to people by the end of the 31st so they can swap for shards. The final Scrap utility will be released before the shard is closed.

The Taiyo roadmap will be released soon after. The whole goal is to create the utility of the Graphite token for the Taiyo robotics brand. Taiyo robotics NFT has more value than just a token, but we don’t want to have inconsistent goals.

Short-term roadmap for Gen1/Gen2

  1. Graphite IDO

  2. Graphite stacking after IDO

  3. Art update

  4. IRL events

  5. Improve the graphite ecosystem

Results

Robots are only getting better!

  • Project of strong builders and community;

  • They want to get away from SCRAP and switch to Graphite. The pilots are just the beginning of this;

  • I advise you to look closely at the cores, perhaps their benefits and price will increase;

  • We are preparing for February 9, for Graphite IDO;

  • The Pilots will be roaring all February.

The only problem with this project is that they don’t meet the deadlines :)
