Sei Testnet Guide

Hey everyone! Let’s start with Sei socials:
Twitter / Discord / Website / Telegram / Medium

*FYI:1% of all Sei tokens is for the testnet. Awards will be distributed according to the points you scored during all the phases(currently only the 4th is available).

So, a few words to start about the testnet:-you will have to fill 2 different forms(no need to look for them by your own, they will be a bit later here in the article)-the testnet will be on the VortexProtocol website-you will need a Keplr/Leap wallet-when the testnet is over, you will need to pass KYC verification to be eligible for an airdrop

Let’s start with a testnet!

Step 1:

Join Sei Discord and fill out the form.

Step 2:

Download the wallet(Keplr or Leap once again):

Step 3:

Choose “Sei Testnet” in your wallet, copy the address, and then request tokens via the discord faucet:

In the #atlantic-1-faucet channel write these commands:!faucet + address to request “sei” tokens**!faucet + “ust2” + address **to request “UST2" tokens

Step 4:

Visit the VortexProtocol website, and connect your wallet.

Then deposit some UST2 tokens and confirm the transaction in your wallet.

Step 5:

Click the “trade” button.

Here you can see 2 different types of orders(Limit & Market) and 2 standard options for them(buy & sell).

Choose the “market” option, put the amount in ATOM/UST2 tokens, and confirm the transaction. After that tap “view on explorer”.

Here you can see the transaction hash which we will need to submit in our next form.

Step 6:

Fill out the form.

After this visit Imgur:

1. Click the “New post” button.

2. Upload the screenshot.

3. Click the “Grab link” button.

4. Paste this link in the form.

Step 7:

Choose the “limit” option, the price at which you would like to buy/sell ATOM, confirm the transaction, and fill out the same form again, but with another mission(“Place limit order on Vortex”).
