A smart contract audit is an essential step to secure a dApp: third-party auditors can identify problems that the team may overlook. Audits, which employ both automated tools and rigorous hand inspection, can prevent the vast majority of hacks.
A smart contract audit is a deep analysis of the code, either by its developers or by a third-party auditor that aims to find errors, vulnerabilities, and bugs. Unaudited dApps might often collapse because of an internal bug or may be targeted by hackers.
A single smart contract audit is never a 100% guarantee that the project won’t be exploited but can uncover vulnerabilities of different severity levels: critical-level (allow an attacker to steal tokens, break the dApp, etc.), medium-level (potential damage is limited) and low-level (still a bug, but creates  little risk of financial or structural damage).
DZap place the highest priority on the security of the platform. We understand the platform's complexity, the challenges of releasing bug-free software, and the responsibilities of maintaining a value-bearing protocol. As a result, we've gone to great lengths to ensure that the smart contracts and overall deployment have been thoroughly reviewed by top security and audit firms.
Our contracts are audited by BlockSec. Furthermore, DZap's QA guarantees that each product delivered is of the highest quality, ensuring that our users do not suffer any security difficulties and our developers ensures manual line-by-line code analysis as well.
