Before starting A brand new project………
Ask yourself WHAT THE PURPOSE makes you want to breed a project? Just for money? Or providing what kind of value to holders?
It will affect:
Mint Price
Size(supply)
Utility
Target group
If you already make a detailed plan & need $500,000 to reach your goals (with conservative or accurate estimate)
Let’s assume it’s a 10000 supply project,then the price must>=$50 (if sold out)
Next you need to think why should ppl believe you and pay$50 for your NFT?
“Can you provide the equal value or even more for each holders?”
Only you and your team know the answer.
No right or wrong with a high supply
It’s just hard to control the quality with your community
That’s why I love low supply NFT.
About utility, just PFP? No Roadmap? It’s fine
If everyone loves your artworks、you got fucking hype on twitter、many ppl believe in you….we’re still willing to buy it with a high price.
If you provide services/tools/alpha info or doing a p2e game……..etc
Sure you can ask a reasonable $ for that
** “I think the best way is talking to your community members and reach a consensus on mint price.”**
-By twitter spaces/discord AMA/community votes….
Instead of pricing high => Few or no one want to mint
Or the floor price drops less than your mint price
** “Why should I pay(mint) if fp is less than MintPrice?
it’s cheaper on opensea/X2Y2/Blur…”
**
“People will decide whether to buy(mint) your NFT for these reasons.”
”I saw many project didn’t consider these things, and it lead the project to death, even they had a good start and expectation…..”
