Here’s a brand new overview of the top updates coming from SenseiNode in Q1 2025, including new services and product improvements, team efforts and more.
On March 27, 2025, SenseiNode achieved ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification, further strengthening our commitment to information security and operational excellence. This milestone follows our successful completion of SOC2 Type II compliance in October 2024, underscoring the maturity of our security practices.
Our ISO 27001 certification was awarded with zero non-conformities in the initial audit, a reflection of the rigorous standards maintained by our team. We are proud to have secured two major security certifications within six months, demonstrating our continuous investment in safeguarding client operations.

Our CEO, Pablo Larguia, spoke with CoinDesk’s Tom Carreras about SenseiNode’s journey building Proof-of-Stake infrastructure across Latin America and our commitment to strengthening decentralization where it’s needed most. Today, SenseiNode operates over 9,000 validators across 35 protocols, ensuring not just geographic decentralization but also local and regional hosting resilience.
Earlier this year, Pablo featured in Traders Magazine, sharing our perspective on key trends shaping 2025, including the accelerated emergence of Bitcoin Layer 2 networks, multichain interoperability, and the future inclusion of staked assets in ETFs.
Pablo also contributed an op-ed to CoinDesk's Crypto Myth Busting series: “How to Ensure Blockchains Are Really Decentralized.” The piece dives into what true decentralization looks like — and what compromises it.
We are honored to be part of the validator set for Avail, helping to secure the protocol that is accelerating the unification of Web3.
Avail three phases approach to provide the infrastructure layer to unify web3 involves availDA, that allows anyone to readily access and verify the data required to reconstruct the state of a rollup network or blockchain application without the full nodes. You can check our validator here
Merge Buenos Aires was an incredible opportunity to connect and exchange ideas with key players from across the global blockchain ecosystem — all in a familiar setting: Buenos Aires, one of the world's true blockchain capitals and our home base.
Our CEO, Pablo Larguia, joined a powerful panel on the Staking Track alongside SEEDNodes and Stakely. The discussion went deep into the technical and economic barriers facing solo stakers, how staking pools can improve decentralization, and the path forward for protocol resilience.
Federico Hofman, Sr. Blockchain Engineer at SenseiNode, shared practical ways solo stakers can join Ethereum validation using DVT (Distributed Validator Technology) through Obol Collective and SSV network — unlocking more access, security, and diversity for the network.
We co-hosted a special evening at Draper House with our friends at Scytale Digital, with the presence of Ursula O'Kuinghttons (CMO) and Matthias Homan (Head of Strategic Partnerships), joined by many friends and partners from around the world. A warm, intimate space where industry leaders gathered to connect, collaborate, and strengthen the future of blockchain together.
