Argentina together with Germany, China and the United States will hold this June 29 and 30 the global event “Polkadot Decoded” to promote the massive use of cryptocurrencies.
Polkadot, a digital asset community, will be in charge of conducting this event during two days in cities such as Buenos Aires, Berlin, Hangzhou and New York, the website Hopin reported.
More than 100 cryptocurrency experts will participate in Polkadot Decoded, whose programming grid includes a series of simultaneous activities where you can participate.
Also present will be Gavin Wood, founder of Polkadot, who confirmed his presence in Buenos Aires and New York to talk about the cryptocurrency ecosystem.
Activities in Argentina
The Art Media Complex located in the Chacarita neighborhood, in Buenos Aires, will host the Polkadot Decoded for the first time.
The activity will be attended by the “Polka Häus” collective made up of specialists in event organization and digital networks.
“Decoded will be a great opportunity to connect with the wider Polkadot world and put South America at the center of this powerful ecosystem,” said Polka Häus co-founder Alex Hatoum.
What is Polkadot?
Polkadot is a web 3.0 project that has the capacity to accept more than 160,000 transactions per second and works as a bridge between Bitcoin and Ethereum networks.
According to its website, “Polkadot is a technology protocol that accommodates diverse blockchain networks, allowing them to work together in a fully integrated environment.”
Projects within the Polkadot ecosystem can access open governance, blockchain treasuries, forkless updates and parallel transaction processing to maximize scalability.
Rewards at NFT
The first 50,000 people from Buenos Aires, Berlin, Hangzhou and New York who register for Decoded will receive a Non-Fungible Token (NFT) certifying their participation in the event.
If participants access the official broadcast on the first day of Decoded, their NFT will evolve with a unique metamorphosis.
