So, this morning I coined the term “age fluid”.

In the previous episodes: we are ashamed to be millennials. Only who can afford it, can call himself gen Z or zillennial, as last resort. Gen Z is cool, it’s represented by Greta, who fights to change the world. And the millennials? They are represented by Mattafix, I mean, it’s cool but…

Maybe it’s the 56k connection, but basically people associate the “millennial” word with a negative connotation.

What does age fluid mean?

I mean, all generations have their own qualities:

• Gen Z: wants to save the world

• Millennial: we can dance Tektonik

• Gen X: Resolute cynicism

• Boomer: …

We must be one of these generations, depending on the need. As Bruce Lee said: “be water, my friend”. We are the sons of modern liquidity, hypothesized by philosopher and sociologist Zygmunt Bauman… Or as my father said “during wartime, every hole is a trench”

Afterall it is not something new, il could be all related to the psychological transactional analysis, according to which there are basically three egos located inside us. The child ego, the adult ego and the parent ego.

The real age is not the one you have but the one you feel. Not surprisingly, there are different kinds of age, the biological one and the mind one. I don’t want to take all the offenses of the LGBTQ+ community, but I think the age is not a matter of math, but it is the one we feel about ourselves.

So, in case you like TikTok videos, don’t worry, you are a gen Z trapped in a millennial body. Unfortunately, there are not yet any operations which can change your age, but you can at least change your clothes, taking off your skinny jeans.
