Jobs where AI will replace humans

This is the second blog in the series of AI — A job creator or killer. I will go a little bit about how it has impacted me. I as a professional photographer wanted total control over my photographs, so I always used to edit them myself. But it consumed most of the time in any assignment. With advancement into AI, a lot of post-production can now be done in minutes and that too according to my taste. So I will start with how AI can help and assist in jobs.

  1. Photo Editing: Just like in my case as a portrait or wedding photographer, AI can assist photographers in editing photos by automatically adjusting exposure, color balance, and other settings. This can save time and allow photographers to focus on the creative aspects of their work.

  2. Video Editing: AI can also assist video editors in tasks such as color correction, object tracking, and stabilization of shaky footage. This can speed up the editing process and give editors more time to focus on the creative aspects of their work. Adobe’s “Adobe Sensei AI” technology, which is integrated into many of their products such as Photoshop, Lightroom, and others is one such example. The AI technology assists photographers and graphic designers in tasks such as selecting the best photos from a shoot, removing unwanted elements from photos, and automatically creating collages, panoramas, and other photo compositions. Another example is DeepArt.io, an online platform that uses AI algorithms to transfer the style of one image onto another, creating unique and stylized photos

  3. Writing: AI can assist writers by suggesting synonyms, improving grammar, and providing insights into audience preferences. This can help writers create more engaging and polished content. Copy.ai and peppertype.ai are the best examples of how writing can be assisted. If you have thoughts — AI can help you write them better.

  4. Graphic Design: AI can assist graphic designers in tasks such as creating layouts, generating color palettes, and optimizing images. This can save time and allow designers to focus on the creative aspects of their work. One example of AI being used in graphic design is Adobe’s “Adobe Fresco” app, which uses AI to offer features such as live brushes and automatic selection. The AI algorithms in Fresco can analyze the type of brush being used, the texture of the surface being painted on, and other factors to produce realistic and natural-looking brush strokes. The app also has an “Auto Select” feature that uses AI to quickly and accurately select objects in a design, saving time and effort for the user. Another example is Canva’s “Magic Resize” feature, which uses AI to automatically adjust the size and layout of a design for different use cases, such as resizing a social media graphic for different platforms. If you are creative, AI can assist you to bring your creations to life.

  5. Marketing: AI can assist marketers by analyzing customer data and providing insights into target audiences. This can help marketers create more effective campaigns and reach the right people with their message. A must-check out is Hootsuite Insights. It can provide insights into audience behavior, allowing marketers to better understand their target audiences and create more effective campaigns. Hootsuite Insights provides real-time analysis of social media conversations, sentiment analysis, and competitor tracking, among other features.

  6. Sales: AI can assist sales teams by automating routine tasks such as data entry and customer relationship management. This can free up sales teams to focus on building relationships and closing deals. Some examples are.

a) Salesforce Einstein — a suite of AI-powered features integrated into the Salesforce platform, including lead scoring, opportunity prediction, and automated insights.

e) Tild, — an AI-powered sales acceleration platform that automates sales research and discovery, providing real-time insights and recommendations for sales reps.

7. Customer Service: AI can assist customer service teams by handling routine inquiries and providing instant answers to common questions. This can improve response times and allow customer service teams to focus on more complex issues. A must Check out list is

a) Zendesk AI — a suite of AI-powered features integrated into the Zendesk customer service platform, including a virtual agent, sentiment analysis, and automatic ticket routing.

In all these cases, AI can assist creative professionals by handling routine tasks, providing insights, and saving time. This can help creative professionals focus on the creative aspects of their work and deliver higher-quality results. I will not say that the human force will be cut, but I believe monotonous and repetitive tasks will be and should be replaced. I believe human minds were created by GOD to do much more creative work. In the next blog in the series, I will explore which jobs/ tasks AI can never replace.
