This is the third time introducing Grass, and for good reason. The project continues to make strides, and today’s update is particularly exciting because Grass has launched its own desktop client, allowing you to earn double the points after upgrading. If this is your first time hearing about Grass, take a moment to learn about the project first. 1. What is Grass?

Grass is a data layer specifically designed for artificial intelligence (AI). It aims to collect internet data using idle resources on users’ devices to aid in the development and training of AI models.

How does Grass achieve this? The core lies in its concept of "sovereign data aggregation," which involves components like nodes, routers, validators, zero-knowledge processors (ZK processors), and data ledgers. These elements work together to organize unstructured data from the web into structured datasets, which are crucial for training AI models.

One of Grass’s standout features is its ability to utilize idle resources. Once installed, it operates passively and rewards you with airdrop points daily.

2. How to Participate in Grass Airdrops?

2.1 Create an Account

Go to https://app.getgrass.io/ and complete the registration by entering your email, username, and password. Your password should be strong, including at least one uppercase letter, one number, and one special character. Use the referral code: 2uTYBkp7eY1vdHS

Step two, log in with your username and password.

2.2 Download the Client (Upgrade)

Click the "Store" menu on the left side to access the following page.

Then, click the "Download" button on the right side of the image to go to the next page:

Click the arrow to find the appropriate version. Then click the "Download" button to start the download. Here, we’ll use the Windows version as an example. Find the downloaded file, as shown below, and click to install it.

After installation, log in with the email and password you just registered:

Once logged in, click on the gear icon and then "App Settings."

Turn on the two options under "App Settings."

After upgrading, click "Link" to log in to the web console and confirm that you are now earning double points.

If you see "2.00x" at the arrow location, it means your upgrade was successful. If you’re a new user, you’ll also need to bind your wallet email address.

2.3 Binding Wallet Email Address for New Users

This process is relatively simple. After logging into the Grass control panel, click "Rewards" to enter the following page.

Click "Start" in the image above, then check your email for the message just sent by Grass.

Click the arrow in the image above to confirm your email address. Then return to the Grass console and click "Verify wallet address." You’ll need a Solana wallet; I use Phantom. If you don’t have one, click here to install its Chrome extension.

After confirming the wallet signature, you’ll need to confirm once more that the wallet address is successfully bound. Click the "Confirm wallet in email" button in the Grass console. Then go back to your email to find Grass’s second confirmation email, as shown below:

This email is different from the previous one, as it includes the wallet address in the box. Click the arrow in the image above to confirm. Return to the "Rewards" menu, and if you see the image below, it means you’ve successfully confirmed and bound your wallet and email address.

If you’re an existing user, you’ll need to disable the original Grass browser extension. In Chrome, click "Link" to go to the extensions management page and find the Grass extension, as shown below.

Make sure the button in the circle above is in the off position. Of course, you can also choose to remove it entirely.
