Web3 fantasy sports company Game of Silks completed US$5 million in financing, bringing the total financing amount to more than US$10 million. The participating investors were not disclosed.

It is reported that Game of Silks is an NFT-driven fantasy horse racing startup that issues NFTs related to thoroughbred horses, and their owners can receive rewards based on the performance of the horses corresponding to the NFTs in the real world. The company was founded in June 2021 and works with organizations such as the New York Racing Association, Belmont Raceway, The Jockey Club and Fox Sports-owned Americas Best Racing. OpenSea data shows that Game of Silks has issued more than 7,000 "Silks Genesis Avatars" NFTs, with the current floor price being 0.088 ETH ($125).
