In our previous articles, we criticized the current music industry and underscored how it is potentially eating the revenues that should have belonged to musicians and listeners and thereby harming the overall industry in the long run. We also introduced how Sonorus is planning to revolutionize the industry through our two original key mechanisms: listen to earn and promote to earn.
In order to let more people know what we are doing, invite more people to join us to create a fairer music world, and find like-minded talents to join us, we joined Gitcoin Grant Round 14!
What is Gitcoin Grants?
Gitcoin Grants is a series of recurring fundraisings rounds that encourages people to discover and fund public projects. Projects cover from blockchain infra, to Web3 diversity, to climate change, to Web3 social, etc. Gitcoin Grants hope to explore the potentiability of Web3 fully, fund and sustain the projects, and include people with different backgrounds into the Web3 universe.
People can either submit their own grants or donate to those projects they have interests in. Gitcoin DAO will also match public crowfunds! Thus, your decision will decide where the money in the matching pool to go and your support will be very important to us!
