According to the official website of the US SEC, this Friday, the SEC filed settlement charges against the encryption ATM company Coinme, the encryption project Up Global, and Neil Bergquist, the head of the two companies, and fined a total of nearly $4 million. The SEC accused Up Global of misleading investors in the 2017 ICO and engaged in unregistered sales of encrypted asset securities, in which Coinme was jointly and severally liable, and Bergquist was also prohibited from serving as a director of a listed company within the next three years.
