Tens of thousands of Twitter users were down on Wednesday local time, according to data from DownDetector, a website that monitors network conditions. As of 7:40 p.m. ET, more than 10,000 users reported problems accessing the social media site in the United States. Some users also complained that their Twitter notifications were not working.
