Introducing 'Stay just a little while longer', the album

Hi, this is Adam. I’m releasing a new dj poolboi album on March 18th.

I’m seeking to raise 10 ETH through a combination of NFTs and $POOLBOI tokens to fund this release in exchange for:

• Exclusive NFTs for 12 of the tracks
• 1/1 physical polaroids from the 90’s photographed by Roman Barrett whose polaroids are featured in the album's cover artwork.
• Signed vinyl copies of the LP
• Exclusive access to the album ahead of release
• An EP of unreleased dj poolboi music
• Guest list+1 and private meet & greet at any dj poolboi show globally *not including festivals

About the Album

In writing this album I set out to create my most diverse work yet. I wrote these songs to fully express myself through different instrumentations and genres. I listen to and am inspired by all genres of music; thus I wanted to be true to myself in creating an honest album that reflected me as a person and an artist. This diversity is depicted as well through the far reaching featured artists on the record, coming from all over the world together (Zambia, UK, Spain, South  Korea, Canada ..)  in one project. As I am releasing this record independently, we have adopted a crowd-funding approach to finance the release, merch, and subsequent touring and shows.

We've created an NFT collection for the upcoming dj poolboi album ahead of its release March 18th.  Each NFT features the first glimpse at the full album with 30 seconds from each song.  They also feature polaroid images shot by renowned photographer Roman Barrett during his time in his early 20's in the 90's in New York as an art student. Roman's polaroids are featured on the upcoming album cover and in two of the lead singles and in this collection.

It was my goal to create a sincere album, and I am proud to release it now to all of you.

Why I’m doing this

Releasing music as an independent artist is not easy.

You have to find ways to create, manage distribution, manage partnerships, marketing, curation, and somehow make your bills + compensate my team.

For the last 3 years I have invested everything i’ve made from music back into the music including this album which has extensive marketing surrounding it including 12 music videos, extensive promotion for PR and to radio.

For these reasons we’ve decided to create this collection of NFTs through a crowdfund. It’s the first time I’m ever doing this…. And maybe the last.

The music in this release is accompanied by unique polaroids from renowned photographer Roman Barrett during his time in his early 20's in the 90's in New York as an art student. Roman's polaroids are featured on the upcoming album cover and in two of the lead singles and in this collection.

Together we want to preview the new album, give fans one of a kind offerings while keeping independent control of this release by raising funds to cover the costs.

We hope that together we can create something that this community values, and that lets us continue to operate independently.

How it works

By participating in the crowdfund, you will receive $POOLBOI tokens.

For those new to web3 and the mechanics of transacting with NFTs and blockchains. Here is a good resource that will show you how you can get your hands on some ethereum on a self-hosted wallet (Metamask). You can contribute to the crowdfund when you have ETH in your wallet.

Token distribution

Crowdfund will have a soft cap of 10 ETH and a hard cap of 30 ETH and will run for 10 days.

ETH contributed will return $POOLBOI tokens at a rate of 100 $POOLBOI per 0.1 ETH

50% will be retained by the team. The remaining will be distributed through this crowdfund.

$POOLBOI tokens will reserve a right to future token issuances, events, unlockable content, and more.

Depending on the contribution, you will be able to redeem NFTs representing different tiers of rewards.

About the NFTs

I’m putting together a set of twelve 1/1 NFTs that represent the minting of the album on-chain.

An NFT edition of 50 is also available for those that would like to contribute and get a unique piece of the creative process.

The rewards are distributed as follows:

Three 1/1 NFTs for the top backers.

These represent the tracks “la nuit n’en finit plus”, “motions”, and “take me far away”.

Those who redeem the patron podium NFTs will be able to redeem the following:

• Meet & greet +1 at a dj poolboi show
• Unique polaroid - As used from the ALBUM COVER and in singles “la nuit n’en finit plus” and “take me far away” signed by the photographer and dj poolboi (details on shipping/access in the ‘How it works’ section).
• Signed copy of 1 of 3 album TEST PRESSINGS
• Exclusive immediate access to the full album
• Exclusive access to dj poolboi private playlist of unreleased track

Nine 1/1 NFTs representing the rest of the tracks that make part of the album.

The owners of these NFTs at the end of the crowdfund will receive the following:

Album NFT Edition (found below)

An NFT edition of 50 capturing a unique recording with an original mix from the tracks on the album. Successful minters will gain access to the following:

• Exclusive immediate access to the full album
• One of the first copies of the limited edition album on clear vinyl

Patron Podium NFTs

The top three backers of the crowdfund will receive unique 1/1 NFTs representing their participation in the crowdfund with unique footage of the album. They will gain access to an on-going, private playlist of my unreleased music as I’m working through it (separate from the one referenced above).
