The story behind "NXSFNLTY"

So, let's start the story. It began in September 2023 when I started running out of ideas and stories for my future artworks. This was triggered by several things, including matters of the heart.

*NXSFNLTY, pronounced Nexus Finality, for those of you who don't know.

This year has been the toughest for me; I disappointed myself and many others. Since I broke up with my ex-girlfriend, I feel like I have changed a lot, a whole lot. I was left abruptly and uncertainly, which made me feel very devastated. This made me feel down and I couldn't create any “good” art for almost 1.5 months. But I finally regained my spirit thanks to my friends who always supported me. They told me, "You shouldn't think about someone like that. Just focus on yourself and prove to them that you're better than they think."

Then I started trying many new things in my design skills, such as learning Typography Design, which I never thought I would attempt before. But learning typography design made me feel relaxed and calm. In the end, I started the "NXSFNLTY" project.

"Burn in Hell" is inspired by one of Bring Me The Horizon's songs, specifically from the lyrics, "I execute judgment on you, you wicked demon, you burn in hell." This line serves as a key inspiration for this piece.

In fact, other lyrics also played a role in the formation of NXSFNLTY. For instance, lines like "So tell all your friends this is the end of everything, too late to repent we'll bathe in the blood of the damned" have contributed significantly to the creation of NXSFNLTY.

In my second artwork titled "FOR ALL TIME, ALWAYS." I was inspired by the Loki Season 1 series in the finale episode. I used the songs from SVDDEN DEATH and MARAUDA as the visual accompaniment.

As for my latest work, "Te daña, Te hiere, Te mata." which means "It hurts you, It harms you, It kills you" — you can translate it yourself. I was inspired by the song "Te Mata" by Kali Uchis and ended up creating the typography design according to its title.

As I delved into the "NXSFNLTY" project, I discovered a newfound well of inspiration. It was a reminder that inspiration could be drawn from unexpected places. I realized that life, with all its ups and downs, could be a rich source of creativity. The journey through heartbreak and self-discovery became the canvas for my art, and each emotion fueled my passion for design.

Love, as I learned, isn't always a picturesque tale. It has its complexities, its heartaches, and its moments of profound transformation. The end of a relationship wasn't just a conclusion but a beginning—a chance to redefine myself, my art, and my outlook on life.

Through the twists and turns, I grasped the profound truth that the best companion in this journey is oneself. True strength lies in self-discovery and self-love. My friends, in their unwavering support, helped me realize that I didn't need validation from others. The path to healing and creative revival began with embracing my own worth.

In the grand tapestry of life, I found solace in the fact that inspiration can emerge from the most unexpected corners. The lessons learned from heartbreak, the evolution of my artistic skills, and the harmony of friends all played a crucial role in shaping the "NXSFNLTY" project.

So, as I conclude this chapter of my artistic journey, I carry forward the understanding that love and creativity are intertwined in the beautiful chaos of existence. And in the end, the most reliable ally one can have is the person staring back in the mirror—our truest and most enduring companion.

And before I wrap up, I want to send a heartfelt shoutout, especially to my friend Sifha. She played a significant role in shaping me into a better version of myself. Her support and encouragement were like a guiding light during the darkest moments of my journey. To my friends in the Partai Kentang International, your friendship has been my anchor. Together, we navigated the highs and lows of life, and your support fueled my creative endeavors.

A big shoutout goes to everyone who has been a part of this journey, supporting and cheering me on throughout this year. Your encouragement has been the driving force behind the "NXSFNLTY" project. To each person who played a role, whether big or small, thank you for being a part of my story. Here's to the strength found in friendship and the endless possibilities that unfold when we support each other.
