We are seeking a few brand ambassadors to help us build our presence on social media.
We're looking for people who are passionate about our mission, and who are interested in sharing it with others. We want to be able to reach as many people as possible, so we're really excited about partnering with the right people!
You will be tasked with reaching out to other users of PlanetSWH and helping them learn more about what we do. You'll be able to post on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #planetsomewhere. You can also post posts directly to PlanetSWH's dedicated account on all three platforms.
You will also be responsible for posting regular updates on your own blog or website (we'll provide you with a template), and sending regular updates about the platform itself (at least once a month).
PlanetSWH aims to grow an expanding network that coordinates climate funding distribution to high-impact, proven sustainability projects that provide verifiable environmental benefits. The ultimate concern is climate change.
Climate change is both a financial and a coordination issue. Even when viable alternatives to generating energy and producing commodities exist, hundreds of billions of dollars are being poured into oil and gas each year. There is a widespread belief that action is essential, but we remain in a state of inaction.
That’s why we are initiating the PlanetSWH Ambassador Program.
We need help in spreading the word that the Earth is a beautiful place worth fighting for. We are on the verge of blowing the chance to keep global warming to 1.5°C over pre-industrial levels. If we rely on current government policy pledges, we can anticipate temperatures to climb by 3.2°C this century. People are already suffering. If you are interested in joining us in this effort, we welcome your participation.
You can fulfill one or several functions:

Developer advocacy and relations

Educational content creator

Community organizer
Some ambassadors may focus strictly on developer goals, some on community awareness, some on a mix.
The mandate of the ambassador is to assist, advocate, and educate within the community of PlanetSWH users.
Given this is the first iteration of the program, you may help shape the program as much as you participate in it.

You are a clear communicator, possess patience, and have a strong desire to move the needle on whatever you participate in.
