The democratization of technology was already happening before the wider availability of AI in the form of large language models (LLM's). But it is accelerating now.

Ultimately I see this leading to huge changes in how we form companies and organizations in society. These needed to be highly hierarchical to get aligned on achieving huge tasks.

With the democratization of automation there is less needs for this kind of organization. Decentralization and loser form of coordination - for example in the form of communities - is therefore a likely future.

In the end it is not the tech driving it, but how we as society chose to use it. These are fundamental social choices on wether we want to work in a closely aligned pack with strong leaders or be more losely tight individuals working on common goals. The preference might change not just per individual, but also per type of goal.
