According to Genopets' announcement on March 29, you as a user need all Genotype Crystal from each Elemental Class (Earth, Water, Metal, Fire & Wood), a Terraform Seed, 10 GENE, and SOL (~0.0001 SOL) for the transaction to mint a Lvl 1 Genesis Habitat. If the user is missing any element of Refined Crystals, they can purchased them from Fractal, Magic Eden or FTX.

“All Habitats embody the essence of one out of the five Elemental Classes: Earth, Water, Metal, Fire, and Wood, determining the class of unrefined crystals that it will spawn. For the Genesis Habitat mint, the Elemental Class of your Habitat will be generated at random and adorned with a bright Genesis Emblem,”. Genopets says in their Medium article. “Owning a Habitat will enable you to convert your steps into KI Token. With a Genesis Habitat, you can earn bonus KI for every step.”‍

Genesis Habitats allow users to generate any unrefined crystal, giving users access to multiple habitats. However, unrefined crystals are not NFTs and you cannot exchange them or withdraw them from your wallet as they have no real value.

Once users refine their unrefined crystals, they will become NFTs called Genotype Crystals, which are Refined Crystal NFTs with special in-game properties. Genotype crystals can be used to mint new NFTs, and users can also sell them to other players on the player-to-player marketplace.

The total supply of Lvl 1 Genesis Habitats will be determined at the end of the minting window next month. This will be the total supply that will always exist in the Genoverse. So, you will have a full month to grab any missing ingredients to mint your own Genesis Habitats.
