Ship’s Log - Release 90 - October 4th, 2024
Eyes to starboard and port, mateys! This is another smaller release as we continue our work on the Shared World. We made some adjustments to Ship speeds, opening chests, and some other odds and ends in the hold.
Game
We set the Sloop, Galleon and Frigates ship types to the same speed in Exploration and, as you level up your Ship, it will get faster.
We made it possible to open 10 chests at a time in the inventory menu in a single click
We fixed an issue in which Bounties were not being completed if a Player traded their Pirate while on a Bounty on the Boss chain
We adjusted the default resolution for new players to 1920 x 1080
We tuned the Plunderful Life Gauntlet 5 encounter to be a bit easier for ye salty dogs
We adjusted the World Quests combat encounters from 11 hours to 23 hours in duration
BOOTY Points
BOOTY Points are nearly at port with final testing
A friendly reminder that the streak multiplier for daily gameplay is all-or-nothing for the eligible quests; you can regain lost BOOTY Points by restoring your multiplier
You need to spend Energy to earn the next step of the multiplier, which has a 72-hour grace period before it resets
Known Issues
Upon completing a World Combat Quest, the Player may need to refresh the game to see their earned Gold or Marks balance updated
The Player may need to exit full screen mode if resolution is set to 2560x1080 and buttons are cut off onscreen
