With the latest update, the Pirate Nation crew is introducing Hard Gauntlets. These challenging trials offer superior rewards compared to Normal Gauntlets, but be prepared to risk your booty to prove you have what it takes to beat them. Prepare to embark on a new level of adventure and conquer the toughest challenges yet in Hard Gauntlet mode!

Dual Gauntlets!

• Choose which difficulty of Gauntlets your Pirate will take on by selecting Normal or Hard in the updated Gauntlet UI.

• Hard Gauntlets have an entry fee of 500 Pirate Gold to unlock for the current cycle, that means until they expire and the next Gauntlet starts.

• Hard Gauntlets consist of 5 combat encounters that get progressively harder.

• New Normal and Hard Gauntlet Chests will be awarded for the 1st of Gauntlets of that difficulty setting.

• There will no longer be a 30-minute gap between Gauntlets. Once 24 hours have elapsed for the existing Gauntlet, the next one in the cycle will begin.

• The Affinity advantage has been reduced from 25% to 10%.

Game

• Fixed a bug in which the Double Strike Action Card effect carried over for an additional turn.

• Closed up some of the areas that Pirates can clip through on Exploration Islands.

• Fixed a bug in which a swimming Pirate could not return to Parrot’s Perch with fast travel.

• Fixed a bug in which a swimming Pirate can appear walking in water.

New Bugs

• Parrot’s Perch HUD elements may not appear when returning your Pirate to Parrot’s Perch when they are not in their ship. Refreshing the browser, traveling to your Player Island with the Island Skiff, or entering Exploration mode again will fix this.

• The Pirate Nation music will briefly play when returning to Parrot’s Perch after completing a Gauntlet.
