Don’t follow the Pretty Lights, Pirates!

A new breed of fishy beast has risen from the depths to present new challenges for us all: the Angler Fish! Devastating new attacks await ye in a new World Quest called “Pretty Lights.” Best of luck, mateys. Beware, rumors are that there is even a more fearsome beast prowling the Infinite Isles these days.

Another big update is that Gen1 Pirates can spend Gems to reroll their Expertise and Affinity traits. Finally, we’re making progress on restoring signups and getting BOOTY Points in working order.

Game

• We’re reactivating limited signups for new players to mint a Pirate and start playing the game

• Gen1 Pirates can spend Gems for a random different Expertise and Affinity

• We added a handful of new World Quests in the Infinite Isles, including a monstrous secret quest we dare ye to try

• Players can now retry a World Quest from the defeat screen rather than restarting the encounter from Exploration

BOOTY Points

• BOOTY Points and gameplay streaks are not currently working as expected - please refrain from opening support tickets about this topic

• We are actively working to restore BOOTY Points and streaks, so we appreciate your patience while we bring back this fun feature

Known Issues

• Exiting a battle may cause you to appear by your island, without your ship. If you encounter this, use the Home button to return to Parrot’s Perch to continue playing.
