The VIP subscription can be bought in 1/3/12 monthly increments upfront and are an accelerant to your progress in Pirate Nation.

Playing in the Lockbox Lurker event will be a risky venture! Make sure to weigh your chances when you make your moves. Winning the Lockbox Lurker event will require a ton of Energy so Pirates who scoop VIP and top out on Gems are likely to face the most success.

Another update: you can now make purchases with credit cards on the Proof of Play Marketplace!

Game

• VIP is now available for Pirates interested in accelerating their progress

• Use your VIP tickets in your inventory to activate the VIP benefits:

  • Bonus Gauntlet rewards

  • 25% faster Energy regeneration

  • Monkey Business no longer requires Bananas

• The Lockbox Lurkers event is now live and will run for two weeks

• Collect Lurker Chests and open them for rewards or take a chance at upgrading them by feeding Monster Chow for better rewards — be warned that your Lurker Chest may flee when you attempt to feed it!

• You can find Monster Chow by beating World Quests and collecting resources or by trading for it on the Proof of Play Marketplace

• Use Monster Chow to level up your Lurker Chests or throw in Gems to improve your chances of leveling up if your Lurker Chest is feeling fickle

• Open Lurker Chests to earn rewards and Lurker Points for ranking on the Lurker Leaderboard

• You can now purchase Bananas with Gems at Flip the Trader

• Gauntlet rewards will no longer include Bananas

Shop

• You can purchase VIP for 1/3/12 months and receive a discount for buying the bulk quantities

• The $PIRATE burn percentage has been adjusted to 10%

• Gem prices have also been adjusted and are subject to further change in the future

Marketplace

• Credit card purchases are now enabled on the Proof of Play Marketplace

Known Issues

• Energy Coils and Triple Windmills are not currently generating Rum for their owners

• VIP purchases made with the Coinbase Wallet do not reflect the Founder’s Pirate 25% discount on the page

  (but do apply to the actual transaction)

• Non-VIP players are temporarily unable to access Monkey Business
