Ordz Games Season 5 "Super Smash Ordinal" Beta Test Overview
The beta test for Ordz Games Season 5, "Super Smash Ordinal," is currently underway. This season is a battle game based on multiple Ordinal collections. Besides using Ordz Heroes, players holding other Ordinal collections can also participate in the battle game and use their PFP assets as game characters.
The official game token is GAME•OF•BITCOIN based on the Runes protocol, hereinafter referred to as $GAMES. The game token is currently listed on Gate.io. The BRC20 protocol $ORDG token remains valid, and players can exchange the two tokens through official channels.
To fully embrace the BTC ecosystem, we will open other BRC20 and Runes tokens to $GAMES exchange channels in the future. Players holding other BTC ecosystem tokens can quickly participate in the Ordz Games ecosystem.
Ordz Heroes remain the core of this season and serve as the player characters in the game.
BitBoy One Genesis is the core asset of the "BTC+GameFi+DEPIN" strategic layout. Holders will receive weekly rare item airdrops as an asset empowerment.
BitBoy One Chapter 1 purchasers can enter the game and receive a game character for free, and participating in the game through the BitBoy One physical game console will yield additional rewards.
OG Cartridge is the original game asset of Ordz Games. OG Cartridge holders will receive additional draw opportunities and weekly rare item airdrops as a token of appreciation for their long-term support.
Ordz City/Ordz Rush were the game assets of the previous two seasons. In Season 5, holders will receive weekly rare item airdrops as part of their empowerment.
Ordz Games Arcade is a BRC420 asset. The community will decide the asset empowerment method through voting.
$GAMES is the core game token. Users will receive weekly item airdrops based on the amount deposited with the official channel.
In addition to Ordz Heroes, this season expands the following ways to participate in the game:
Ordinals: Ten high-quality community Ordinal collections were selected. Holders of these collections can create game characters using their PFPs. The first batch includes: Node Monkey, Blob, Omb, Quantum Cat, Puppet, Pizza Ninja, Bitcoin Frog, Bitcoin Punk, Frucks, The Wizards of Ord
BitBoy One: BitBoy One Genesis holders and BitBoy One Chapter 1 purchasers can randomly generate their game characters for free.
In the game, Ordz Heroes and BitBoy share one battlefield, while other Ordinal collections share another. The differences between the three types of characters in battle are as follows:
This season's game is divided into two main battlefields: Ordz Fight Club and Super Smash.
Ranked matches are divided into two modes: Solo and Legion.
Solo: Each player can only select one hero per week for the leaderboard. Heroes cannot be changed once selected.
Legion: Players can choose three heroes to participate and adjust their lineup according to the battle situation. Note that heroes in solo ranked matches cannot appear in legion teams in the same week.
Ranked matches are open from Monday 00:00 to Friday 00:00 UTC. Weekly rankings are announced on Saturday at 8:00 AM, and rewards are distributed accordingly. Players can choose their heroes for the next week during the weekend.
Ranked Match Rewards
Victory Rewards: Players need to stake $GAMES to participate in each match. Victories earn treasure chests containing more $GAMES and game items/equipment.
Win Streak Lottery: Players trigger a lucky draw after three consecutive wins. OG Cartridge holders trigger the lottery after each victory.
Leaderboard Rewards: Daily leaderboard players earn game points, which can be exchanged for reward chests of varying levels based on the required points. Higher-level chests contain more $GAMES.
Players receive three basic solo/legion challenge attempts daily. Beyond this, players must use $GAMES to purchase additional attempts or use attempt cards, with a maximum of 10 attempts per mode per day.
Opponent Selection: Players can challenge heroes ranked within 10 positions above or below their own. To prevent bullying, players cannot repeatedly challenge lower-ranked opponents they have already defeated.
Rank Updates: Winning against a higher-ranked hero swaps their positions. Losing or challenging lower-ranked heroes does not change rankings.
First Strike Rule: A coin toss decides the first attacking party to ensure fairness.
Battlefield Items: Players can use or buy items before the battle, and in legion battles, items can be used when switching heroes.
Battle Process: Battles are turn-based with random triggers for normal attacks/skills. Players can play mini-games to accumulate energy for extra skill attacks. The last hero standing wins.
Battle Settlement: Successful challenges yield battle chest rewards, varying by the amount staked.
Faction bonuses depend on the heroes in the player's wallet, not the active heroes. These bonuses stack and are categorized by hero DNA:
A Faction (Human, Robot, LEGO): All members' attack power increased by 10%.
B Faction (APE, Barbarian, Orc, Elf): All members' HP increased by 10%.
C Faction (Spirit, Glitch, Shadow): Attack power and HP increased by 15%.
Note: Only Ordz Heroes contribute to faction bonuses, other characters do not.
Racial Counter
Based on hero DNA, there are unique advantages and strategies among races. For example, human attacks on barbarians deal more damage.
Players can use $GAMES to buy items that enhance heroes' combat abilities. Items are categorized into:
Equipment: Increases HP, attack power, and skills. Some equipment with DNA attributes triggers racial counters.
Mystery Boxes: Contain weapons and clothing. Rare equipment can only be obtained from these boxes. High-level boxes accumulate luck points, eventually guaranteeing Ordz crystals, exchangeable for rare items.
Battlefield Items: Provide immediate combat advantages, such as restoring HP or increasing attack power, consumed upon use.
Special Items: Include attempt cards, reward cards, and protection cards. Attempt cards increase challenge opportunities, and reward cards allow extra reward chest draws after wins.
Some equipment can be enhanced by consuming equipment fragments to improve stats. Players can embed gems (skill, life, power, and luck gems) to further enhance stats. Enhancements carry a risk of failure or breakage, mitigated by luck gems. Excess equipment can be decomposed into fragments, varying in quantity based on equipment value.
The store refreshes three times daily to ensure diversity. Players can spend $GAMES for extra refreshes. As the game progresses, new and exciting items will be introduced. The inventory allows players to view their equipment, items, and chests. Note: Stores and inventories are separate for Ordz Heroes and Super Smash battlefields. Additionally, an official secondary market allows players to trade their equipment.
Players can level up characters by accumulating growth points. Higher-level characters have increased HP and base attack. Some equipment has level restrictions, unlocking more equipment as levels increase.
Growth points are primarily earned through battles. Each ranked or practice match contributes to growth points. Once the required growth points are reached, players pay $GAMES to level up the character. If characters are transferred during the season, their levels are retained by the new owner.
This season also includes practice, PVE, and PVP modes to provide a comprehensive gaming experience.
Practice mode allows players to familiarize themselves with game mechanics, test different hero combinations, and use items without any pressure. Players can earn small rewards in practice mode.
PVE mode will open periodically, allowing players to team up and challenge powerful bosses. Each character must pay a small entrance fee. During the battle, bosses drop rare rewards, including game items and equipment. The player who lands the final blow receives extra rewards.
PVP mode offers real-time player vs. player combat. Players can engage in 1v1 or team battles at any time, earning items and equipment through victories.
