The Nabu Team is working hard to build the most accurate and reliable NFT appraisal engine in the world. From Day 1, we have been inspired by the mission of bringing clarity in asset valuations and pushing the needle forward to achieve the lowest error rate in the industry.

We are developing an NFT valuation engine which is powered by machine learning. Our API is already being used by several companies such as lending & rental marketplaces, NFT insurance protocols, market makers, investment funds as well as accountancy firms.

We are confident in our endeavor because everyone in our team is fully determined to excel as we push forward with each milestone in the startup. Nothing else makes us prouder than the members of our team.

The people behind Nabu are a group of skilled individuals with the same vision: to enable the universal adoption of NFTs as an asset class by building the most trusted NFT valuation and pricing engine. With a combined 30 years of experience in finance, software development, data science, marketing, and design, we believe we can reach this goal within the next five years.

While our team has been (mostly) behind the scenes until this point, its now time to introduce our team members to the Nabu community.

Team Lineup

A team with deep experience in appraisals, NFTs, and scaling successful ventures:

Timur - CEO

United Kingdom

Timur is a serial startup entrepreneur who scaled and exited 2 startups. His first venture was a leading gig economy marketplace in Central and Eastern Europe and his second business was a fintech payment processor in Germany.

Before Co-Founding Nabu, he was a co-organizer of NFT Club Berlin, the leading web3 community in Germany.

He is a huge gamer and a collectibles geek. Name any FPS - he played with it.

Ricardo - CTO

Germany

Our Co-Founder, Ricardo, has 20+ years of tech experience working for various senior positions in multiple ventures. He was a CTO of a blockchain company and has been in banking for 13 years valuing exotic assets.

Ricardo also built and exited a fintech business together with Timur. He has deep experience in data science (ex Data Director at a global specialty finance company).

Ricardo is someone very relatable and friendly. When not thinking about work, you can see him attending NFT events in Berlin.

Diederik - CDO

Germany

Diederik is a trained astrophysicist and data scientist with more than 15 years of experience developing world-leading quantitative models and extracting meaningful information from noisy data sets. He has co-founded major global research networks and has published more than 250 peer-reviewed publications.

As the CDO at Nabu, Diederik is in charge of the data science team developing our machine learning algorithms for NFT valuation.

Notorious API - Backend Engineer

United Kingdom

Notorious API is a highly experienced software engineer with a lot of experience in software engineering and analyst work. He has worked for web3 startups and finance / FinTech companies like market makers, investment firms, API providers, data marketplaces, and DeFi projects.

Cheslav - Front-end Lead

“As a web developer, I have worked in different companies for 7 years - having interesting moments, a lot of fun, and sometimes pain. I’ve worked at several startups and with my deep technical experience, I will do my best to help Nabu go to the moon. 🚀”

Oleksii - Head of Design

Ukraine

Oleksii is a product designer who geeks out about empathizing with users and creating human-centric solutions that resonate with real needs. He is a UX hustler, a marketing design strategist, and a visionary.

He has worked for tech companies and guided them flawlessly from core ideas to high-quality finished products. He was the lead designer for a hospitality SaaS platform and also built an NFT game platform.

John - Growth Ops

Philippines

John has diverse work experiences across sales, tech support, and web marketing including a remote job with an IT and cloud consulting firm based in Silicon Valley. He also worked for a crypto and blockchain marketing agency based in Ukraine and for crypto, DeFi, and NFT projects.
